Memoirs in London
I'm not a food connoisseur but I can tell you what my tastebuds enjoy.

As time passes, we grow and blossom
Time has flown past and it has been over three months since my last post already. The last time I left a mark here I was embracing my last week learning as an undergraduate but now I am less than a month from my graduation ceremony. How scary?! But since then I have learnt and experienced so much. I hope we can grow and heal as time passes.

Introducing: My Logo
![]() |
Not your typical 'January Blues'.
I can finally put my mark on things! *insert excitement*
This was something totally unplanned and unexpected but I have a logo now!
I wanted to put a stamp on my photos so I asked my designer friend for suggestions. The initial ideas suddenly sprouted from his creative mind and a few conversations later, voilà my logo has come to life.

Two Weeks

순두부찌개 - Soft Tofu Stew
It's half way through the first month of 2014 already!
Just two weeks into my last semester of uni and I'm just about keeping up with the work.
Just two weeks until Chinese New Year (a second chance to start getting fit again...).
And twice in two weeks I have satisfied my stomach with Korean food from Palace. :)

Dim Sum in China Town
To
be honest I rarely go to eat dim sum these days as my parents prefer
eating out for dinner so this was a discovery process for me. - that awkward
moment when someone asks me which restaurant is the best in China Town
and I stare blankly then shrug my shoulders in response - My choice of restaurant - Wan Chai Corner - ended up being a result of reading reviews which was not too bad in my opinion.

First Post!

I'm a little person in this big world
To whoever is reading... Hi there! and welcome to my blog. :)
So, have you ever taken photos of your food, to upload it on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter or or for no particular reason whatsoever? (story of my life) You may or may not know this but Asians have become (in?)famous for taking photos of their food. There's even a tumblr page for it and many videos - watch this. I love food so I have taken numerous - a ridiculous amount - photos of food to post on Instagram & fb in my younger years whereas now I take it for the sake of taking it I guess? So I thought why not put it to some use and blog about the food, maybe you might want to try it too?

Just a few of the many photos of food taken from my phone
My second reason for starting a blog relates to being asked the question "What is there to do in London?" a lot but failing to come up with many great answers. Actually I usually respond with the generic Oxford St, Covent Garden, Camden, Hyde Park etc. which are probably pointed out in tourist guides to London. I have lived in London for the 20 years of my life yet I'm not very adventurous and I don't think I can legitimately say that I know London. Many relatives/friends have visited London and seen more than me. So I want to explore and blog about London!
So this is why this blog exists. I probably lost a lot of you already, but thank you for reading and hopefully I'll start update with my adventures soon! :)
