Final Week

I'll miss this place.

It has been a while since I last typed away on here. Hours have passed and I am rapidly approaching the end of my uni life. Just this last week of learning - 6 more hours of lectures & 3 hours of classes.
Then A LOT of revision, 8 exams and graduation. It is starting to hit me that I will miss uni (less the copious amount of studying) so I'm appreciating every minute even more these days (I guess it's a sign that I am ageing).

After exchanging a plastic egg for a real egg.

Trying to make this a fun and memorable week! Started the week by trying to find eggs. "#QMEgghunt" I have never looked around uni in so much detail and been so alert. I have to admit it was pretty fun, and well I couldn't contain my excitement when I found the little plastic egg containing a 'congratulations, swap me for a chocolate easter egg at the SU' message. Success!

27 Monmouth Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 9EU

Today I finally visited Monmouth Coffee Company in Covent Garden. I'm not really a coffee drinker but I've heard that this place is amazing and I'm aware that lots of shops use their coffee bean brand. Even though I've seen photos of their queues I was still surprised by the amount of people waiting for their caffeine dose considering how relatively quiet the street was. It's a compact shop with little space to manoeuvre but seems cosy (maybe it's the lighting?) and smells so good. I ended up getting a latte (slightly disappointed I didn't get any latte art) which was fragrant and not bitter. It didn't leave a bad after taste and even my bf who doesn't like coffee seemed to appreciate it. Definately want to try this again. :)
